Transair Drip Fittings make it quick and easy to install drip lines into an existing compressed air or industrial/inert gas system. To install a drip fitting, all you need is a drill, a Transair drill bit (depending on the fitting being installed) and a Transair drilling jig to accurately drill the hole. Transair offers several types of brackets to fit the space requirements of the existing system. For scenarios where the compressed air system cannot be shut down for modifications, Parker Transair offers the Hot Tap bracket which can be installed under pressure.
When installing the drip fittings, Parker suggests drilling the hole at the top of the pipe to prevent moisture and debris from entering the drip line. Drilling the hole at the top of the pipe can be avoided by using the quick-mount bracket. Thanks to the location of the seal, the quick mount bracket can be installed on the side of the pipe and still prevent moisture and debris from entering the drip line. The pressurised system fitting requires a hot drill (part number EA98 06 00) to install the fitting in a pressurised compressed air line.
The full bore design of the Transair drip fitting, combined with the low coefficient of friction of the aluminium tube, ensures optimal flow through the entire compressed air system. All drip fittings are 100 % recyclable, silicone-free and made of flame retardant materials. All drip fittings meet the UL94HB standard. Parker Hannifin warrants all Transair components to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 10 years from date of installation.
