PSD1 represents the global Parker family of servo drives with different types of power supplies from 2 to 30 A and two designs. It currently includes the following:
- PSD1-S: a stand-alone drive unit that can be connected directly to the power socket. The compact housing means the unit is particularly suitable for smaller machines.
- PSD1-M: a multi-axis servo system where each axis can drive up to three servo motors. The basic version consists of a common DC bus supply and several PSD1-M modules connected via DC busbars. The modules are available in one-, two- and three-axis versions, ensuring a highly flexible system. The PSD1-M servo system is particularly suitable for all centralised automation systems, such as those found in many packaging machines, where a large number of drives are often required and offer significant advantages.

Plugin, PSD configuration:
All ongoing tasks can be managed with Parker Automation Manager (PAM). A fully integrated tool based on the PAM framework is available. Setup and commissioning of the drive is easily done using wizard-based configuration tools. Parker motors have an electronic nameplate. Technical data for Parker linear work units, such as ETH and HPL, are available in the database.
