Stabe meets demand for electric boat motors

In this project, we helped a start-up company develop an all-electric, zero-emission outboard motor for the leisure boat market. We also met the customer's requirements for low operating costs and easy maintenance. Stabe Drives and Parker collaborated on an innovative concept of an electric motor and drive system, complemented by a Bluetooth-enabled electronic control system with a proprietary graphical user interface (GUI) and associated app.The solution was an affordable, high-quality electric motor and inverter.

Application overviewSuit test - Test rig
The pictures below show a traction test for a customer conducted in 2018. Stabe has assembled a linear unit, frequency converter, servo drive, servo motor, PLC and Panel from Parker and designed a system solution to simulate and measure how much traction a product can handle. The test rig is about 5 m high and Stabe is also responsible for the mechanics. Contact Stellan or Eric for more details.
