The aluminium construction prevents corrosion and deterioration of the tube over time. All Transair aluminium tubing leaves the factory with a QUALICOAT certified coating for protection against environmental impact. Transair will not add additional contaminants to a compressed air system. The quality of the air leaving the compressor room remains unchanged in a Transair system.

With Transair, there is no need to paint the pipes to indicate which medium is being transported. Transair is available in three standard colours: Blue for compressed air, grey for vacuum and green for industrial/inert gases. For additional colours, please contact Transair customer service.

Maximum working pressure:
- 1/2" to 4": 232 psi (16 bar) when operating between -20 and +46.1 C (-4 to +115 F)
- 6" to 8": 188 psi (13 bar) when operating between -20 and +60 C (-4 to +140 F)

Maximum working temperature:
- 185°F when the system is operated at 101psi or below
- 74 °C when operating at 145 psi or below
- 140°F when the system is operated at 188 psi or lower
- 115°F when operating at 232 psi or less (1/2" to 4" only)
