GVM - compact and powerful electric drive for marine applications

The GVM (Global Vehicle Motor) is a brushless, liquid-cooled permanent magnet motor from Parker Hannifin, developed for applications with high demands on power, efficiency and compact design. In marine applications, GVMs are used for propulsion, manoeuvring and auxiliary power in electric boats and ships - where quiet running, low weight and water resistance are essential.

Designed for integration with inverters, control systems and battery packs, the motors can be easily adapted to both new build and conversion applications.
