SMH series brushless servo motors offer a combination of cutting-edge technology and very high performance. An innovative cylindrically round technology with neodymium/iron/boron magnets uniquely enclosed in the motor shaft means that SMH synchronous servomotors can achieve high acceleration and withstand heavy overloads without the risk of demagnetisation or magnet failure. In addition, the dimensions of the motor are greatly reduced, providing significant benefits in terms of torque and dynamic performance. SMH servo motors have approximately 30 % more torque than traditional brushless servo motors, and the rotor inertia is very low, making them ideal for highly dynamic applications.

The SMH series brushless servo motor has a high degree of flexibility thanks to several different motor configurations, flange and shaft options, feedback sensors and speeds.
