MGV motors are brushless synchronous servo motors with permanent magnets, specially designed for test bench applications that require compact and reliable solutions without compromising high performance.
For the qualification process, MGV engines can be used in many test rigs for automotive or aerospace components (diesel engines, starters, pumps, generators, gearboxes...). MGV engines are highly responsive and have exceptional dynamic performance, making them ideal for the needs of simulation testing: speed in urban cycling or motorsport, speed acyclicism of an internal combustion engine, etc...
Markets:
- Test rigs for vehicles
- Aerospace testing equipment
Features/Benefits:
- High maximum speeds - avoid the need for mechanical gearboxes
- Low inertia - allows very fast acceleration/deceleration
- Constant power operation (field weakening mode) above rated speed eliminates the need to oversize the drive
- Water cooling - ensures compact size and low noise level
- High dynamic behaviour allows the operating conditions of the tested product to be accurately reproduced
- Compactness
Areas of use:
- Engine testing
- Component testing
- Testing of the powertrain
- Chassis dynamometer
- Electric car or hybrid car
- Battery simulation
Technical specifications:
- Power: up to 500 kW
- Speed: up to 45000 min-1
