Intelligent ServoDrive VIX 250VA

The freely programmable, intelligent ViX servo drive provides high functionality and flexibility in programmable motion control. With outputs in the 250-500 VA power range, ViX utilises field-oriented digital control technology to provide enhanced dynamic performance with improved efficiency. The basic version of the drive can be controlled with step direction signals in addition to an analogue speed or torque demand.

The ViX drive is manufactured in two versions with continuous currents of 2.5 A and 5 A at motor bus voltages up to 80 VDC. A peak current capacity of three times the continuous rated current provides outstanding acceleration performance. The unit offers the choice of either resolver or encoder feedback (user selectable). To facilitate initial commissioning, the drive can correct most motor and feedback cable faults automatically.

A powerful software package is included with the drive and allows for easy and quick configuration and fine-tuning. The ViX intelligent drive has a powerful controller that uses Parker's proven EASI command language. In addition to performing all basic motion control functions, the controller performs more advanced operations such as external code tracking and motion detection. All necessary configuration is performed by software.
